Leads a team accountable for the successful design, delivery, financial management, communication and/or administration of complex, corporate-wide HR product(s)/program(s). May work closely with external vendors. Works on a team that evaluates existing product or program cost, effectiveness and usage, and designs recommended improvements. May have responsibility to manage, train and develop associates on the team.



Location : Charlotte, NC (no flexibility around location)



Reports to : VP, International Assignment Services Pay and Compensation Leader



Basic Function :



The International Assignment Services (IAS) US Pay Manager must be a well regarded individual with an excellent track record in previous payroll activities. The successful candidate must be a strong, decisive, results-oriented individual who is willing to work amongst a team while at the same time be ready to step out and be the driver behind specific initiatives. Candidate must be able to achieve desired results without significant direction from others.



Responsibilities will include:


  • Overseeing the end to end processing for the US Assignee Payroll
  • Assist in the completion of the design and implementation of a new US payroll system
  • Be a point of contact to IAS advisors with pay questions
  • Develop audit methodology around expenses and pay
  • Oversee pre- and post-audits with all vendors
  • Review Total Pay Summary reports as needed
  • Liaise with other lines of service to enhance the overall delivery of pay and reporting needs for US touching assignees
  • Coordinate with tax vendors and project teams on creation and continued implementation of shadow payrolls
  • Assist in the development of Country Pay Guides for each Bank location
 

 

Qualifications
Required skills:


  • 8-10+ years of payroll experience - MUST know US payroll
  • International pay experience a huge plus
  • Proven track record of experience resolving complex issues around payroll and developing creative solutions around pay problems
  • A solid understanding of the taxability of certain pay and compensation items as it relates to international assignments
  • Strong project management skills

  • High level of confidence in ones ability to perform required tasks
  • General understanding of eWorkplace (for internal associates)
  • Ability to be flexible in ones work while still focusing on end goal
