Description
My global client is looking for a Organizational Development/Learning Director to be based at their HQ near Charlotte, NC (local candidates only please). In a nutshell, the person will support global objectives by providing tools and expertise in the areas of change management, organizational design, team development and cultural change. Key success factors:
- Works with senior management to define, develop, and administer programs and processes to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives
- Track, analyze and develop reports to measure the effectiveness of training strategies. Monitors, assesses and evaluates programs and their impact on the company to ensure that programs continue to add value
- Effectively manages training projects and vendor relationships to ensure delivery of quality programs within budget and expense guidelines
- Conducts needs assessments as requested to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance
- Identifies/incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans, creates ongoing process improvement
- Provides expertise in design of leadership development program and support its execution
- Develop company-wide orientation and on boarding programs to support assimilation of hires at all levels within the organization
- Conducts 360 degree assessments and feedback with director-level and below
- Plans and facilitates senior executive strategy sessions, meetings and other interventions as needed
Requirements for the position are:
· Master’s Degree in Human Resources, preferably in Organizational Development
· 10 years’ Organizational Development experience and/or HR experience with minimum 7 years’ OD experience
· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
· Must be willing to travel 25% of time (required)
· Certifications in Situational Leadership, Franklin Covey Focus, DDI Targeted Selection, and DISC are preferred
